Following a murder-suicide case, police in Houston found the bodies of a couple. Their three small children, ages one, two, and three, led them to the remains. Following a gunshot incident, the couple passed away in their Meadowglen Lane house.
The neighbors took care of the small children at the crime scene, keeping them safe. On Monday, the parents’ bodies were found by the police when they went to check on the children. The children were seated in the parking lot outside.
The children informed their parents that they were inside when they were asked. The oldest child saw her parents’ remains, and the others were hungry and thirsty. It is thought that the man struck the mother first, then himself, when the parents were in their 20s. According to one KHOU11 witness, the incident happened about twenty-four hours prior to that.
Around 5:00 p.m., police were called to the scene. The children who were speaking to the officers at the crime scene pointed out that the parents were inside the house. “I feel bad for the oldest one because she will have to live with vivid memories of the incident,” said McMillan, the neighbor.
She claimed that the children’s mother had previously attempted to leave the man when she came to use her phone and ask for assistance. She refused to leave because of the children, even though she had warned her that their relationship wasn’t worth it. The children are currently placed in their grandmother’s house.

The couple’s name has not been made public. According to the authorities, the suspicion was sparked by the children’s requests for food. The children are thought to have been left alone for more than twenty-four hours.
Regarding the event, the Houston Police Department wrote on X that the children were being cared for and that no injuries had been reported. Since the cause of death is obviously a shooting as part of murder and suicide, not much information about the case has been made public.
