Koby Higginbotham of Knoxville will compete in the boys 400 hurdles championship category and the boys 110 high hurdles this weekend at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene, Oregon. On Saturday, Higginbotham will run the 110-meter hurdles, and on Sunday afternoon, he will run the 400-meter hurdles. Two weeks ago in Iowa City, Higginbotham competed in a senior showcase and finished second in the 110-hoop event at the class three-A State Track and Field Meet, which was the 44th best time in the country. Additionally, he finished third in State’s class three-A 400-horse competition.
