The baseball team lost on the road against West Marshall on Tuesday, while the PCM softball team triumphed at home against Lynnville-Sully.
The Hawks lost 11-0 in four innings to the #3-ranked Mustang softball team. Rylee Parsons earned the victory by pitching four innings with three strikeouts and just one hit allowed. Addison Steenhoek went 1-3 with a double, run, and RBI; Kyra Naeve went 1-1 with a double and an RBI; Camden Webb went 1-1 with a run and three RBI; Tori Lindsay had three hit by pitches and three runs; and Lilian Humpal went 2-3 with a run, a double, and two RBI. Tonight, the PCM softball team will resume a suspended game at Perry before heading to South Hamilton for a conference game. The squad is at 16-2 on the season.
The Mustang baseball team lost to the Trojans 12-0 after five innings of play. Izaac Bagby went 1-1 with a walk while Kaleb DeVries went 1-2 offensively with a double and a walk. The PCM baseball team will play South Hamilton tonight and is at 6-9 on the season.
