Today’s games will feature the PCM softball and baseball teams.
Weather-related cancellations of the Mustang softball and baseball teams’ Thursday night games versus Pella Christian occurred, but both teams are fresh off victories over South Hamilton on Wednesday. There will be six teams competing in the Roland-Story Classic Tournament today, including the #4-ranked PCM softball team. Glenwood and Grinnell are the Mustangs’ scheduled opponents at 1:30 and 3:30 pm, respectively. The PCM softball team won the Heart of Iowa Conference championship on Wednesday and is at 18-2 on the season.
Tonight at 7:30, the Mustang baseball team will play their lone varsity game against Roland-Story. The Norseman recently trounced Kee High 8-0, while the Mustangs downed South Hamilton 6-2 on Wednesday night. Roland-Story is 16-7 for the season, while PCM is 7-9.
