Tonight’s single-game games against the Pella Christian Eagles will round out the Little Hawkeye Conference campaign for the Indianola baseball and softball teams. After losing five of their previous six games to rated Waukee Northwest, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Norwalk, the Indianola softball team is attempting to bounce back after sweeping Pella Christian on the road with victories of 18-1 and 10-0. The baseball team also won a doubleheader sweep over Norwalk on Wednesday, defeating them 16-5 and 11-1. With a victory, they would secure the conference title outright.Clayton Sampon will call the softball game live on 92.1 KRLS, and Andrew Swadner will provide play-by-play commentary for the baseball game on 94.3 KNIA. Both broadcasts start pregame coverage at 6:45 p.m.
