Both Panther Summer Sports Squads had to take an unexpected night off due to the rain that canceled last night’s Knoxville games at Cardinal. Both are performing tonight in various locations. As the two Marion County rivals take their rivalry to the set of one of the most famous sports films ever made, baseball travels a little more than three hours to Dyersville to play Pella Christian at the Field of Dream Movie Site. Although this is a work trip, Panthers coach Turner Devore tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that they will not forget to have fun and absorb everything. The softball team will defend Panther Drive against Pella Christian while the baseball team is in Dyersville. Both sides enter the game in trouble, but Knoxville Before returning to South Central Conference play on Friday, coach Chris Peden thinks tonight is an opportunity to gain some much-needed confidence. The softball game is broadcast live on 95.3 KNIA at 7:00, while the baseball game is broadcast live on 92.1 KRLS, beginning with the pregame at 4:30.
