While the softball team lost games in the West Central Conference, Pleasantville’s baseball team defeated Van Meter on the road Tuesday night.
The Trojan baseball team, rated #2, defeated the Bulldogs 6-2. Brayden Kennedy earned the victory after pitching the entire distance while giving up five hits, no earned runs, and nine strikeouts. Braylon Bingham went 2-3 with three RBI, and Logan Roff went 3-4 at the plate with two doubles and two RBI. Tonight, the Pleasantville baseball team will travel to Southeast Warren after improving to 16-0 on the season.
The Trojan softball team lost to the Bulldogs 9-1 in their game. Lillian Mason’s solo home run was the only run scored by Pleasantville, who had five hits overall. Tonight, the Trojan softball team will travel to Wayne after dropping to 8-6 on the season.
