On Tuesday, the Knoxville Baseball Squad defeated Newton 12–6 on Panther Drive after trailing by six runs. Despite three early mistakes, Knoxville rallied in the third inning, scoring five runs to pull within one run at 6-5. They then grabbed control of the game by scoring in the next three innings. Roston McCarty drove in three runs while Luke Roozeboom and Lincoln Norris each had two singles for the Panthers. Jesson Ferguson pitched the longest 2 2/3 innings as the Panthers utilized the game as a bullpen workout. The Panthers have gone 9-1 since a 1-5 start and are currently 10-6 with a trip to Cardinal planned for tonight.
