Right-winger Megyn Kelly has called Donald Trump’s consideration of granting Sean Diddy Combs a full presidential pardon a stupid one.
According to reports, the possibility of pardoning the singer of “All About the Benjamins” is being given careful thought, two months after Trump made his comments on the subject.
In May, Trump declared, “Whether they like me or not, I would definitely look at the facts if I think somebody was mistreated.” I wouldn’t be affected in any way.
He used to really like me, but I guess that relationship ended when I ran for office, based on what I’ve read, Trump continued, discussing his personal relationship with the Act Bad rapper who was convicted of two counts of prostitution.
I’m not sure why he didn’t tell me that, but I suddenly read some mildly offensive remarks in the paper.
Assigning Diddy a get-out-of-jail-free card would result in Trump having yet another damaging relationship with a convicted sexual offender. The large man doesn’t appear the least bit interested in it.
However, Megyn Kelly, a conservative podcaster, does.
According to The Independent, she warned her podcast audience that Trump fans will see his pardon as yet another cover-up due to the Epstein files controversy.
She clarified that Trump would not attract young female Republican Party votes with such an act.
She stated, “The GOP is already struggling with female voters, and they’re not all lefties,” on her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show. There are young, conservative women out there who aren’t smitten with MAGA or Trump. This won’t help either.
Kelly continued, “We all saw the videotape of him beating the hell out of Cassandra Ventura,” as she turned to face Diddy. However, there was a ton of more testimony regarding the other women he had beaten repeatedly, right up until his arrest. Trump should not show him any leniency.
Additionally, Kelly noted that a pardon would not only be devastating in the eyes of women worldwide, but it would also exacerbate the Epstein Files issue.
It seems obvious that something is amiss in the whiter-than-white White House given Trump’s administration’s appalling failure to make public the remaining documents related to the government’s investigation of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump said during the campaign that he would make the Epstein files public after he was elected, but guess what? He didn’t!
It was a poor move for Trump. Many people, including a sizable section of its own base, believe that the government has taken extreme measures to remove Epstein’s client list of well-known people.
According to Kelly, Trump is in difficulty because he is giving the MAGA base the impression that he is a member of the elite cabal, which serves as a front for other members of the cabal.
As Kelly said, Trump will get another Epstein if he pardons Diddy.
On Twitter, Kelly said, “Trump should not pardon Diddy.” He is not deserving of it. He hates Trump. He mistreats women. Elites appearing to cover for one another has already angered MAGA. This wouldn’t be beneficial. Young female voters are a problem for the GOP, and the majority of them will detest a Diddy pardon.
