In addition to disclosing the strict routine he follows to maintain his 30-pound weight loss, JD Vance has admitted that he still finds it hard to avoid one type of food.
Earlier this week, the vice president appeared on the Katie Miller Podcast and talked about doing out up to five times a week. I’ll work out when the kids go to bed. Vance said, “I usually work out after the kids go to bed.”
It happens as he divulges his trick for juggling the responsibilities of parent and vice president.According to The Irish Star, Vance continued by describing his ideal routine, saying, “I try to do two to three days of weightlifting and a day or two of cardio. I’ve been pretty good about this even as VP.”
In a good week, I’ll work out five days, and in a bad week, three days. But, he added, it’s the same basic combination. The vice president disclosed that he too adheres to a popular diet. “I got really into intermittent fasting a few years ago after the Senate campaign,” the lawmaker said. Intermittent fasting determines when you eat rather than what you consume.
When you are on an intermittent fast, you only eat when you feel like it. There are several ways to conduct intermittent fasting, like the 16:8 method, which entails eating within an 8-hour window and fasting for 16 hours, or the 5:2 diet, which consists of eating normally for five days and limiting calories on two days.
According to Vance’s version, he misses one meal each day. I try to eat two times a day. “I typically eat lunch and dinner,” he remarked. In addition to fasting, the 41-year-old tries to consume a healthy, balanced diet.

Vance did admit, though, that he occasionally caves in to cravings, particularly for his poison. “But I also have a terrible sweet tooth,” he added. As a result, when I eat poorly, I typically end up eating a few scoops of ice cream at one or more times during the day. Like, ice cream is my poison.
In about four years, JD Vance went from being a mere person to a candidate for vice president, and he even looked amazing while doing it.

Nonetheless, he revealed that he had made a number of adjustments to reduce the amount of sugar. He actually drank milk, sugar, and coffee. He tries to drink it black most of the time these days. Vance says he’s trying, but it’s hard for him to be good with those liquid calories. I do what I can, he said.
