The White House has made its debut on TikTok in a strange new development. In a video that was uploaded to the Chinese app, Donald Trump’s office can be seen saying, “I am your voice.”
The official X page tweeted on Tuesday night, “Hello, TikTok.” There are several footage of Donald Trump performing his presidential duties in the TikTok film. He can be seen shaking hands with key personnel, waving to his supporters, and addressing at the podium. Trump is heard saying, “Every day I wake up determined to deliver a better life for the people all across this nation,” at the start of the film. Your voice is me.
After that, music and more of his clips play. “America, we are BACK!” is the caption for the video. What’s going on, TikTok?

Given that Trump isn’t very fond of the app, the White House’s debut on the Chinese app has drawn criticism. The US government declared in 2020 that it was thinking about banning the app in response to a suggestion made by then-President Donald Trump. The destiny of the app in America remained uncertain even as he returned to serve his second term. Users of TikTok lived in constant terror that the app would be banned by Trump at any time. However, he signed an executive order creating a 75-day non-enforcement of the restriction on his first day of office. On April 4, it was extended for an additional seventy-five days.
Fans now believe that the app is here to stay after the White House’s debut.Washington politicians are worried that the Chinese government might obtain the data of American users, according to a Reuters story. However, it has been rumored that Trump is negotiating a deal for US investors to purchase TikTok from ByteDance, the company’s Chinese owners.
Trump now has a soft spot for the app, despite his early desire to ban it. Given that he made his app debut during his 2024 presidential campaign under the username @realdonaldtrump, and currently has 15 million followers, he thinks the app helped him win over young voters.
Since TikTok has more than 170 million American users, the White House’s debut on the app is an attempt by the administration to reach a larger audience with Donald Trump’s words.
According to the White House Press Secretary, the Trump administration is dedicated to informing as many audiences and platforms as possible about the historic accomplishments that President Trump has brought to the American people.
She continued, “We’re excited to build upon those successes and communicate in a way no other administration has before.” During his presidential campaign, President Trump’s message dominated TikTok.
