This week, Jesse Watters, host of Fox News, shared one of his signature bizarre observations. He praised Donald Trump’s attempts to put an end to the bloodshed in Ukraine and said the president had a childish spirit.
In response to Trump’s most recent phone-in visit on Fox & Friends, Watters and his co-hosts made the remark during Tuesday’s episode of The Five. During that call, Trump stated that he felt driven to mediate a peace between Russia and Ukraine in order to increase his chances of entering heaven in addition to saving lives.
All I want to do is stop it. Trump stated, “You know, I want to end it.” But, you know, I want to try to reach paradise if I can prevent the deaths of 7,000 people every week. I’ve heard that I’m not feeling well. I’ve heard that I’m actually at the bottom of the hierarchy. However, this will be one of the reasons if I am able to enter paradise.
Watters: We adore him because of this. He has a youthful attitude and subscribes to the Sunday school of thinking, which holds that there is hope if one only does good deeds. We sort of identify to him because he’s so relatable and relatable. He’s like the guy that likes cheeseburgers, candy, and nicknames.Twitter: https://pDKdzpJbj2.

Watters clung to that sentence with a smile. He said, “And that’s why we love him.”He has this innocent attitude and the Sunday school of thought that says there is a chance if you just perform good deeds.
The commentator then embraced the notion, portraying Trump as both flawed and likable. He cited Trump’s simple pleasures, saying that we can identify to him because he is so likeable and enjoys his youthful moments. He enjoys cheeseburgers, candy, and nicknames.
Watters acknowledged that Trump isn’t exactly a saint, though. However, we can all relate to the desire to enter those heavenly gates by doing good. I believe that he is aware that he has been a bad boy, and I believe that we all are aware of this.
Watters then turned his attention to the July 13 protest in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a shooter opened fire, killing a firefighter and wounded two others before being apprehended by the Secret Service last summer. Trump himself only suffered minor wounds and survived. That survival wasn’t a coincidence to Watters. He said that since God rescued his life, he is now on a mission to prioritize America and promote peace. And that’s fantastic, in my opinion.
He dismissed criticism of Trump’s recent Alaska meeting with Vladimir Putin, comparing it to other high-stakes summits like FDR’s with Stalin or Nixon’s with Mao. The meeting with Vladimir Putin is perfectly acceptable. It was Biden. According to Watters, Obama did it.
Watters made things extra odd by reversing the direction of the conversation toward the end of the segment. A devout Catholic, he claimed that after reading about Christianity earlier in the day, he had come to the conclusion that faith is more important than good deeds in order to enter paradise.
It must be comforting to know that your audience would enthusiastically embrace anything you say, regardless of how foolish or incorrect it may be. You will still receive payment even if your elementary school student writes your show. It must be a thrilling experience.

He went on, “That’s why I’m going in.” Because I am a wonderfully decent boy and I am aware that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. The Donald is far worse than me.
