After attempting to defend the deployment of the US military to Chicago by pointing to an unexpected source of purported support, Donald Trum raised eyebrows on Friday. The President asserted that the people of Chicago supported the move and that they were yelling for us to visit.
However, as is often the case with Trump, his answer soon took a strange turn. He continued by saying that people like this one are donning red hats and begging for military action. However, they have red hats on. Beautiful African American women are pleading with President Trump to visit Chicago.

Did anything like that ever occur? The National Guard doesn’t want to stop and arrest African American women for simply strolling through their neighborhood.

It’s unclear exactly who these stunning African American MAGA fans are, if they even exist. This is due to the fact that Trump’s popularity in Chicago hardly fits his narrative. In 2024, he received only 28.4% of the vote in Cook County, Illinois, which encompasses the city.
Additionally, this is not the first time Trump has used dubious allegations of criminal activity to support extreme measures. He had summoned the National Guard just weeks earlier on the pretext that Washington, D.C., was experiencing a surge in crime. It should come as no surprise that Trump’s most recent remarks caused a surge of online skepticism, with many people doubting that his story was based on any truth.

Regarding this, there have been multiple comments on X, with one user stating As we continue to save this nation, more than 90% of Black women voted against Trump. A lengthy paragraph that outlines Trump’s Chicago rescue fantasy—where federal overreach masquerades as chivalry—was shared by another user. Those lovely women he says he hears? In reality, the mayors are yelling at him to cease cutting off financing for their programs that prevent violence.
The statement went on to say that Chicago has reduced gunshots and killings by 40% and 30% since 2024 through community initiatives, and that on August 11, Trump eliminated $158 million in anti-crime funds. His administration weaponized government funds by terminating $800 million nationwide and bringing 35 lawsuits. Let’s imagine that National Guard deployments take precedence over real governance, though. Constitutional vandalism masquerading as a rescue.
