Shelli Green, kinesiology program, a 2007 Central graduate, has been promoted to associate professor.

Katherine Nesbit, English program, has been promoted to associate professor.

Maggie Fisher Schlerman, accounting program, a 2002 Central graduate, has been promoted to professor.
The Academic Affairs office announced the 2025 endowed faculty awards for excellence during their annual celebration.

Huffman Award for Outstanding Support for International Education recipient – Anya Butt, professor of biology

Hutch Bearce Community-Building and Faculty Leadership Award recipient – Sara Shuger Fox, associate professor of kinesiology
