The Coralville Fire Department is conducting helicopter landing zone training Saturday afternoon. The training helps first responders hands-on experience to establish and manage a landing zone for a live helicopter in an emergency situation.

Residents near S.T. Morrison Park can expect to see an AirCare emergency helicopter fly into in the area and land in the park at approximately 2 p.m., with first responders from the Coralville Fire Department and other area agencies present for the training as part of a coordinated team effort.

The public is asked to remain clear while training is conducted, and stay at least 200 feet outside the landing zone.
