Donald Trump Humiliated as Jerome Powell Calls Out His Big ‘Lie’ on Camera

Donald Trump met with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on July 24. To put it mildly, though, the conference did not proceed as planned. The President visited the Federal Reserve’s Washington offices to tour the central bank. For those who do not know, the Federal Reserve System is in charge of ensuring that the nation’s economy runs smoothly.

The visit’s photos caused a lot of controversy since many people saw makeup on Trump’s right hand, raising further questions about his health. But that wasn’t the only story that grabbed attention on Thursday. There was a recent quarrel between Powell and the president. The president recently attacked the head of the US central bank in front of reporters and on social media. Powell was lowering interest rates too slowly, Trump bemoaned.

As they got to know the building site during the Federal Reserve visit, their discussion abruptly shifted to renovation prices. According to Donald Trump, the cost of the renovations could reach $3.1 billion.

Powell stood there disagreeing, “I’m not aware of that.” Yes, it was just revealed that Trump took a piece of paper out of his pocket in an attempt to gain the upper hand. “I haven’t heard that from anybody at the FED,” the central bank chief said, carefully reading the article. Did we do this?

Before Powell realized his mistake, Trump said, “Yes, I don’t know who does that.” The figures he was showing appeared to be from an older structure. It is highly embarrassing because the President was likely unaware that it had been completed five years prior.

Oh, you mean to renovate the Martin? Powell was evasive. A third building was just added by you. As Powell noted, that is what the third building is. Donald Trump argued back, however it’s unclear if he understood the mistake. However, a building is being constructed.

Holy crap! This video is quite remarkable.

This is the Fed’s chief executive, Jerome Powell, criticizing Donald Trump for lying on camera.

Powell did it more than once because Trump actually lied on camera (the media, of course, reported nothing).tweet.com/NC2yyCj6WA

Jerome immediately rushed in to point out that they had finished Martin five years prior, having previously prepared his counterargument.

The Republican leader did not want to back down because it was a component of the larger effort. As the discussion continued, Powell said, “It’s not new.”

By that time, it was embarrassing. However, by shifting the topic to whether they would anticipate any further cost overruns, Trump may have attempted to make amends. “That’s not new,” the head quickly retorted.

Hahahahahaha! Jerome Powell, the chair of the US Federal Reserve, just delivered a master lesson on how to respond to an ambush attempt. Gaslighting will always be overshadowed by the facts!#JeromePowellpic/1S8s3wFGhn on Twitter

But as soon as everything seemed to be returning to normal, a reporter questioned Trump about how, in his capacity as a project manager, he would have handled the budget. “Generally speaking, what would I do?” asked Trump, who already has a wealth of real estate industry knowledge. I would fire them.
