Trump met with Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, while he was there. The primary purpose of the conference, which was to debate immigration, was abruptly changed to wind turbines.
The President then quickly stated, “And the other thing I say to Europe: We will not allow a windmill to be built in the United States.” He continued by saying that Americans were being killed by windmills.
Trump’s anti-windmill agenda didn’t end there. He continued by saying that wind turbines were ruining America’s picturesque plains, valleys, and landscapes. He further clarified that he was referring about the stunning American plains and regions, not airplanes.
There are windmills everywhere when you look up. He stated in the meeting that it’s a terrible thing. The President went on to say that it was the priciest energy source. He pointed out that the windmills are ineffective. “Almost all of them are made in China,” he continued.

Trump says the windmills rust and rot in eight years, but he doesn’t address the issue of how to get rid of them. He went on to say that because they run the risk of damaging the earth, they cannot be buried there.
He declared the windmills to be a scam. “It’s very expensive,” Trump continued. To be fair, Germany gave it a try, and wind doesn’t work. The president has previously shown opposition to renewable energy. He has had a quite lengthy feud with wind energy.
