The PresidentAn ambitious man on a mission to restore America’s greatness is Donald Trump. He has been concentrating on organizing a large celebration to commemorate the conversion of the White House Rose Garden into a newly paved patio area after a hectic few days visiting world leaders to talk about the conflict in Ukraine.
The 79-year-old president and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles left the Oval Office on Tuesday afternoon. Trump pumped his fist and pointed to reporters in the area as music played over the garden’s new sound system, including songs like Joe Cocker’s You Are So Beautiful, Elvis Presley’s Are You Lonesome Tonight, and Pavarotti’s Nessun Dorma. Later, Karoline Leavitt, his press secretary, posted a video of the refurbished space, which featured bright yellow umbrellas from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
The Daily Beast claims that God Bless the USA, his campaign hymn, was also playing in the background. The president said, “We’re testing the speakers for what will be the greatest event in White House history,” according to Leavitt. Trump has added a number of personal touches since becoming office, this refurbishment being just one of them.
With gold touches everywhere, he has already totally revamped the Oval Office. The fireplace has undergone the most obvious alteration. Swedish ivy, a plant that has been there since the Kennedy administration, was used to decorate the mantle when Joe Biden was in office. Dessert stands and decorative centerpieces have taken its place.
When he announced earlier this year that he intended to replace the verdant Rose Garden with stone pavement, Donald Trump drew criticism for transforming the Oval Office into a temple-like environment. President Woodrow Wilson’s wife, Ellen Wilson, created the original garden, which rose bushes and formal landscaping made it famous.
The garden has seen a number of improvements, including one in 2020 by Melania Trump, but none have been as extensive as this one. Trump defended the remodeling by claiming that it will make the area safer and easier for visitors to use, especially women who wear high heels. “During press events, people fall,” he told Fox News in March. The soft terrain may cause issues. It simply didn’t work, especially for women wearing heels.

Karoline Leavitt reassured guests that the garden’s roses would not be altered as complaints concerning the modifications poured in. First Lady Melania Trump responded, “I believe so,” when asked if she approved of the modifications.
How about the first gathering to take place on the newly constructed patio? According to Leavitt, Donald Trump told her, “Maybe we’ll do that,” hinting that it might be for the media. The Trump administration is attempting to demonstrate its strength in the meantime. Having known Trump for so long, we can be certain that he is determined to maintain his strong public persona and demands quick and easy outcomes.
This is the White House’s Rose Garden. It wasn’t destroyed, and it wasn’t historic. It would get the grass wet. Women found it challenging to walk in heels on wet grass. It was therefore exquisitely paved. In all honesty, it isn’t any more difficult than that.e4tIsbXpk5 pic.twitter.com/
