Mary Trump, Donald Trump’s niece and a lifelong opponent of Trump and his policies, once again called her uncle a pitiful being following his recent meeting in Alaska with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Mary claimed in a YouTube video that Putin is successfully manipulating Donald Trump by stoking anxieties about mail-in voting in the US, and she accused him of being unprepared and incompetent.
Mary claims that Putin fueled Trump’s fear by implying that mail-in ballots were the reason behind the 2020 U.S. election’s tampering, a claim that Trump enthusiastically repeated in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News. Trump claimed in the interview that Putin informed him that mail-in voting led to fraud. You had a rigged election as a result, he remarked.
According to The Irish Star, Donald Trump even used Putin’s claim that millions of people would still be alive and there wouldn’t have been a war if he had stayed in office. “Yes, of course we should trust Vladimir Putin, a man responsible for countless Ukrainian deaths, when he says he’s concerned about voter fraud in America,” Mary responded, making fun of her uncle.
Mary Trump went on to say that neither Trump nor Putin are concerned about the lives killed in the conflict. According to Mary, Putin gives Trump the information he wants to hear, and the president takes pleasure in the attention. Mary also criticized Trump for his uncritical acceptance of Putin’s fraudulent claims, pointing out that Russia has permitted mail-in and even online voting since 2020.
Voting by mail wasn’t the only thing Mary did. Prior to the midterm elections, she accused Trump of advocating for aggressive redistricting in places like Texas and Indiana, highlighting his continued political influence. Her aggressive comments on the internet don’t surprise us. Not long ago, she had also declared her uncle unfit to hold public office.
She referred to it as a hostile redistricting takeover and claimed that he is forcing Republicans to redraw lines in order to keep power. She went on. Mary claimed in the remainder of her video that the Republican Party is afraid of the president and frequently blindly obeys his directives and corrupt course.
The political personas of Trump and Putin are therefore diametrically opposed. Putin is a traditional leader who values enduring alliances developed gradually, whereas Trump is a restless individual who frequently craves instant results and intense attention.
Additionally, Putin worked in intelligence and was born and raised in a low-income, criminal neighborhood in the Soviet Union; as a result, he believed in taking advantage of the weaknesses of his opponents. (He says what Trump wants to hear, as Mary mentioned.)
During yesterday’s discussion with Putin, @POTUS stated, “I told him that we’re going to set up a meeting with President Zelensky, and you and he will meet, and then after that meeting, if everything works out OK, I’ll meet and we’ll wrap it up.”

Donald Trump, on the other hand, came from a wealthy family; his father, Fred Trump, was a real estate tycoon who left his wealth to his kids. As a result, he enjoys being the center of attention and upholding a glamorous image, which is evident in his political choices as well.
Additionally, on August 18, Trump met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, in the White House. Trump has been steadfast in his efforts to put an end to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He hopes Zelensky and Putin will meet and reach an agreement to halt the fighting.

However, due to Putin’s propensity of missing meetings and breaking ceasefires, other foreign leaders at the peace conference were dubious of the meeting, despite German Chancellor Friedrich Merz confirming Putin’s desire to meet within two weeks. The president of Finland also issued a warning, saying that Putin is rarely reliable.
The future of the volatile circumstance will only become obvious with time. Hopefully, Donald Trump will be able to dance in the spotlight and finally claim to be the greatest world mediator.
