The most talked-about topic at the moment is US President Donald Trump! Along with other European leaders, the 79-year-old met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky twice in an attempt to put an end to the protracted conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has inflicted a great deal of harm in recent years.
Trump met Putin in Alaska, but on August 18, he met with Zelenskyy at the White House. Following this, French President Emmanuel Macron addressed Trump’s recent assertion that Russian President Vladimir Putin is prepared to reach a peace agreement over Ukraine as a result of him.
The Huffpost claims that the remark, which was captured on a hot mic during a private conversation between Trump and Macron, was made just one day after the leaders convened for a peace summit with the goal of reaffirming support for Ukraine and avoiding pressure on Kyiv to accept an unbalanced peace agreement that favored the Kremlin.
I believe [Putin] wants to work out a deal for me, the 79-year-old told Macron. You get it? As absurd as it may sound. In a subsequent interview with Kristen Welker of NBC, Macron responded to Trump’s remarks by stating that he applauded the positivity. Macron stated, “Your president is very confident about his capacity to get this deal done, which is good news for all of us.”
Macron continued, “I think President Putin isn’t really willing to get peace now, when I look at the situation and the facts, but maybe I’m too pessimistic.” Macron claimed that the best way to help bring the war to a conclusion was to put more pressure on Russia. Even though Putin has previously breached his ceasefire pledge, Trump publicly maintains his confidence in Putin’s intentions despite Macron’s misgivings.

Trump asserted throughout the summit that Vladimir Putin and this gentleman (Zelenskyy) both wanted it to stop.
I believe that everyone is sick of it and that we will put an end to it. Trump also took credit for defusing tensions between Iran and Israel in June and negotiating a peace agreement through economic talks.
He went on to say that was a huge one. Furthermore, despite the fact that peace negotiations with Putin and other world leaders have not yet produced any results, the Republican nominee has often boasted that he could put an end to the conflict in Ukraine in a day.
Trump reiterated his bid for the Nobel Peace Prize in an interview with Fox & Friends, saying he had resolved seven international problems. The day before, at his meeting with Zelensky and European officials, he had stated that it was six. Additionally, he asserts that he ought to receive the Nobel Prize for his role as a leading peacemaker and mediator and for supporting the warring nations.
According to reports, Trump unexpectedly called the Norwegian minister to inquire about the Nobel Prize.vBjQfngeXH https://t.co/vETrump is attempting to win an unfair Nobel Peace Prize by threatening to use #TrumpTariffs. Trump reportedly called Norway’s finance minister without invitation to discuss the Nobel Peace Prize and other topics. Trump wrote on Truth Social in June, “No matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize.” But all that matters to me is that the people be aware!
The Nobel Prize has been given to four American presidents: Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama, and Theodore Roosevelt. Is Trump going to be next? Nothing is impossible in politics, so never say never!
