Et tu, Floridaman? In a dispute over Donald Trump, a friend fatally stabbed a man from Florida. Donald Henry was arrested, and the individual was declared dead at the spot.
Henry claims that the President’s bankruptcy filing was the catalyst for his disagreement with his friend Shawn Popp. The incident took place in a Florida home on October 22, 2022. Popp died at the house in the Arcadia neighborhood in the 6000 block of SW Shores Avenue.

The two males began arguing as a group of individuals smoked marijuana, according to a witness who saw the altercation unfold. At that moment, Henry was sharpening a knife. The witness claimed that Popp and Henry, who were discussing Donald Trump, appeared to get into a fight.
When the disagreement became heated, someone else who was at the scene recommended that the two go outside. Henry allegedly stabbed Popp in the chest after pushing him into a sliding door.
In a statement made by deputies who subsequently took Henry into custody, Popp claimed, “You stabbed me in the chest, you son of a b -.” Shawn apparently fainted after walking to the opposite side of the road.

Popp was declared dead when the police arrived on the site. Henry disclosed the nature of the altercation between the two buddies as he was being arrested and given his Miranda warning.
The man described how, in the living room, he and his friend were talking about Donald Trump declaring bankruptcy. According to reports, Popp left the house and returned while berating him for his lack of intelligence.
Henry said that Popp had attacked him initially when he was arrested. The man claimed that after Shawn struck him in the face, his training began. Henry struck Shawn once as a result of the training.
Henry later acknowledged using a kitchen knife to stab his companion. He said that because he was trained to neutralize the threat, much like police officers, he stabbed Popp in the upper chest.

Interestingly, no injuries or wounds were discovered by the authorities on Henry’s body to support the theory that he attacked the other man to defend himself.
Henry was found guilty of second-degree murder, according to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, he was convicted of tampering with the evidence. The DeSoto County Jail is currently where the man is being taken. October has been set aside for Donald Henry’s sentence.
