Koby Higginbotham of Knoxville had a fantastic opening day at the Nike Outdoor Nationals on Saturday in Eugene, Oregon. By making it to the 110-hoop finals and placing fifth overall with a timing of 13.75, he was named a High School All-American. Earlier in the day, Higginbotham qualified for the finals with the 47th-best time in the nation, ranking seventh with a time of 13:74. Today, Higginbotham will compete in the 400-hundred-meter run.
