Lion’s Park in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, was filled with the typical summer sounds, the sun was out, and the air was pleasant. Parents conversing from shady benches, kids laughing, and swings creaking. It was just another opportunity for Reggie Lenear to spend an afternoon with his four children, allowing them to run around freely on the playground.
However, Lenear claims that a white woman at the park deliberately used the N-word to disparage his family, which caused the day to take a drastic turn. Not only did the slur hurt, it set off a chain reaction. The Atlanta Black Star reported that Lenear took out his phone and started recording.
The mom is seen pushing a stroller with one of her daughters as her other children follow in the now-viral video on social media. The background noise is broken by Lenear’s speech. He keeps up with her and remarks that she enjoys using the N-word in the park.
The woman’s tone is defiant as she turns to the camera. She says, “I have a brother who is a [n-word],” as though that information somehow granted her consent.
Lenear does not believe it. He responds, “Oh, look, she keeps saying it,” in a flat but disbelieving tone.
When it enters the parking lot, the recording keeps on. Now, with quick, precise movements, the mom is packing her kids into a minivan. When Lenear tries to record her license plate, she turns around and approaches him while holding her infant close to her hip. She yells, “This is my personal property.” Get out of here! We are all the same. We are human.
People who saw the video online noticed her body language right away. One TikTok user commented, “She’s carrying that baby because she thinks that will save her.” “Not her running up holding her baby,” someone else wrote.
Her statement, “I have a brother who is Blackdefense,” struck a chord with many. “Don’t believe the part about the brother,” one Instagram user clarified. Ain’t nobody using that Hard R but a ra ist! This is a method where they declare they have a mother, father, and brother to give the impression that they have the authority to say it. Another Instagram comment said, An extremely punchable face.
Addressing Racism: A White Woman at a Minnesota playground uses racial epithets toward a Black family and maintains her position8Puyn56iYb https://t.co/p7n0C9BD7Opic.twitter.com

The altercation has been likened to another event that occurred earlier this year. Shiloh Hendrix, a mother from Minnesota, made global news in May after she yelled racist epithets at a Black child in a different park. Not only did that case provoke indignation, but it also garnered a surge of support from radicals. White nationalists, anti-Semites, and others who supported her contributed $800,000 to Hendrix’s fundraising, Help Me Protect My Family.
However, Lenear doesn’t prioritize money or attention. It has to do with responsibility. This is unacceptable was the straightforward caption he included with the video. It should never be acceptable for anyone to speak such things. Additionally, she is with her children, demonstrating to them that it is acceptable and letting them follow suit.
The woman has not been charged with disorderly conduct or hate speech as of August 13, 2025. Nevertheless, Lenear’s article has generated a lot of comments, and online detectives are already trying to figure out who she is. The outcry is about more than one altercation in one park, according to several watchers. It’s about the disturbing fact that these incidents continue to occur in the middle of the day while kids look on.
