A lady was arrested for threatening to kill President Donald Trump when she was traveling from New York to Washington, D.C.
Nathalie Rose Jones, 50, of Indiana, was detained in Washington on Saturday after participating in a protest outside the White House and was accused of two felonies for uttering threats.
US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, a former Fox News anchor and Trump supporter, announced the woman’s arrest on Monday and pledged to prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law.
Threatening the life of the President is one of the most serious crimes and one that will be met with swift and unwavering prosecution. Pirro assured everyone that justice will be done. Beginning on August 2, the Daily Mail published remarkable social media posts on Jones’ account, detailing her obviously bizarre threats and attempts to have Trump removed from office before to her trip to Washington, D.C.
On August 6, a post from Liz Cheney’s account said, “I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all the Affirmation present.” Donald J. Trump, take heed. On August 11, she wrote, “I’m psychotic.”
The frequency and severity of the posts on her Facebook page increased. In a letter she personally sent to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on August 14, she pleaded with him to set up the arrest and removal ceremony of President Trump as a terrorist on the American people on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10 to 2 p.m. at the White House.

Jones insisted that Trump was a Nazi and a terrorist during a voluntary interview with the Secret Service on August 15. She allegedly stated in that interview that she had a bladed item that could carry out hergoal of killing, and that she would kill Trump at the compound if given the chance.
According to reports, Jones stated that she planned to exact revenge on everyone who died during the COVID-19 epidemic and that the high death toll was caused by the Trump administration’s position on vaccines.
The day before she was detained, Jones had uploaded many photos from the front lines of a White House protest, demanding that Trump’s immunity from prosecution be revoked and escalating her calls for his removal.

In a second interview with the Secret Service on the day of her arrest, Jones denied that she currently had any desire to hurt the president. Jones was charged with threatening to kill, abduct, or injure the President of the United States, as well as making communications in interstate commerce that contained threats to kidnap or harm another individual.
