After the game was postponed earlier this month due to rain, the Indianola softball team played a half-finished game against Newton on Monday afternoon. Before the game was canceled due to bad weather, the Indians led 14-6 halfway through the fourth inning. When the game started on Monday, they had scored four more runs in the inning to take an 18-6 lead. Newton did not score any runs in the bottom of the innings, and the game ended early. Tonight, the Indians, who are at 17-12 on the season, will host Oskaloosa.
