Today is the last game played by the Indianola baseball and softball teams before the Fourth of July break.
The Dallas Center-Grimes is hosting one of the most competitive softball tournaments in the region, and the Indianola team is going to be competing against the host Mustangs as well as elite teams like ADM, Ankeny, Ankeny Centennial, North Polk, Johnston, and others. At 10 a.m., the action begins.
The Indianola baseball team is hoping to continue their recent winning streak when they meet Warren County foe Carlisle at Simpson College. Since the start of June, Indianola has only lost twice and won seven of their past eight games. Andrew Swadner will be calling game two of the baseball doubleheader live on 94.3 KNIA.
