It appears like Vice President JD Vance isn’t exactly hitting the proper notes if his goal was to win people over with Donald Trump’s massive budget overhaul. Representative Brendan Boyle, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, made fun of Vance’s plea to the crowd on Saturday. While attacking the Republicans’ working families tax cut, a vast, 940-page legislative juggernaut that has critics furious over its cuts to Medicaid and other social assistance programs, he likened Vance’s attractiveness to a piece of cardboard.
There has been a significant negative response to the July-passed Act.
According to a Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) report, many Americans oppose the planned reduction in Medicaid funding, and Pew Research polls have shown that many people are against it.
Despite this, President Donald Trump is credited with spearheading his administration’s immigration policies and cultural discussions. However, this time, he has decided to put his vice president in charge of advocating for this budget plan.
Boyle spoke extensively on Vance during his appearance on the MSNBC weekend show.
They talked about how JD Vance is obviously a scam and a fake. Boyle pointed out that there is a clear and perhaps dubious discrepancy between Vance’s current statements and those in his 2016 book, Hillbilly Elegy.

Boyle then delivered the week’s most memorable jab:
People can see that he is acting and pretending to be a Trump supporter. As a Democrat, I thus think it is incredibly beneficial that someone with cardboard charm is advocating for the measure.
Boyle believes that JD Vance is not the best person for the job, despite the fact that he traveled to Georgia to inform people about the government’s spending plan. Boyle thinks Vance won’t be able to persuade many people, in the US or anyplace else, about such a controversial bill because he lacks Donald Trump’s peculiar charm and ability to retain people’s attention.
The resonance and attractiveness of Trump’s language and vernacular are distinct. Part of what makes him such an engaging character is his skill with words and his ability to switch between subjects in a manner akin to vocal jiu-jitsu.Twitter: pic.twitter.com/U0sD5MiWQ2

There has been a protracted dispute about the bill.
Many are pointing out that beginning in January, millions of people may lose their insurance coverage due to significant cuts in assistance and healthcare spending. Over the next year and a half, until the next election cycle in 2026, Boyle, the ranking member of the House Budget Committee, pledged to make sure the public is aware of the effects of these acts.
A number of Americans will not be able to obtain health insurance and essential medical care sooner than we anticipate, according to Representative Boyle. This Big Beautiful Bill will be a part of their everyday life and not simply something they talk about.
In a startling moment, Rep. Brendan Boyle publicly criticized the House Republican caucus for voting for the large, gorgeous bill after privately acknowledging its flaws. The Republicans are actually more devoted to Donald Trump than their constituents.hZjHvEWdMv pic.twitter.com/c

JD Vance has been a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, but it’s possible that his attempts to advance the administration’s spending reduction plan aren’t doing the White House as much good as they would want. Some believe that rather than igniting supporters, he is actually facilitating Democrats’ claims that these concepts are inhumane and unfit for political use.
For the time being, the Democrats don’t mind JD Vance’s lack of charisma!
