Since we are talking about Jeff Bezos, we think he will be successful in reaching his objectives. And others are already making fun of them online for it.
Lauren’s lack of acting skills could appear to be a major obstacle to her starring in a movie. Jeff, though, doesn’t seem to care about this. An informant tells writer Rob Shuter sSubstack that Jeff wants her on screen, period, so this isn’t simply fantasy casting. The insider claims that he is, in fact, infatuated.
Jeff is still Lauren’s biggest admirer, despite the fact that her fan base appears to be dwindling. Their reputations have been in ruins since their lavish, star-studded June wedding and their April space launch, which was made possible by Jeff’s aerospace business Blue Origin and included several celebrities.
Because they are perceived as being utterly out of touch, greedy, and superficial, Lauren and Jeff have been the target of criticism from both the general public and celebrities. The affluent couple should thus not be surprised that there has already been backlash against allegations that Jeff intends to exploit his power to get Lauren on the big screen.

Many internet users were unable to forget the notorious uncanny valley feelings of Lauren Sanchez Bezos’s sculpted face in a James Bond movie.

A user on X quipped that the next James Bond [is] going to get the War of the Worlds treatment, all for the sake of promoting Lauren Sanchez’s Botox and lip filler. Another individual said, “As what, the villain?” in response to the casting. Is her face visible to you? Another said, “Thank you for letting us know that the Bond films are officially and genuinely dead.”
If public opinion has any effect on this casting decision, Lauren is most likely not going to get the role. But in this case, Jeff’s viewpoint clearly matters more than the prevailing opinion. A studio executive told Rob Shuter that Lauren is not an actor.
She is Jeff’s motivation, though, and $8 billion can buy you anything you choose. The amount of money that Jeff and Lauren’s many critics spend at the box office will likely still be impacted even if this is the case.
