A Knoxville man has been arrested for a felony charge for alleged enticing of a minor for sexual purposes.
Court documents state that on February 24, 2025, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office pulled over 34-year-old Knoxville resident Jamie DeHeer close to the intersection of Circle Drive and Lake Drive. DeHeer apparently dated a young woman who was younger than sixteen. Law authorities discovered throughout the inquiry that DeHeer had promised to pick up the woman after meeting her on social media. DeHeer told law enforcement that he showered with the juvenile female being able to observe him through a social media app before he went to pick her up.
During the investigation, DeHeer acknowledged that he and the juvenile female discussed having condoms in the vehicle. DeHeer acknowledged that sexual contact was a possibility, but law enforcement stopped the vehicle before they could go to any locations they discussed. DeHeer is being jailed at the Marion County Jail on a Class D felony charge of luring a kid under the age of sixteen for sexual reasons.
