On Tuesday, Knoxville’s Summer Sports Teams lost their respective games. Softball lost to Chariton 11-0 on Panther Drive, while baseball lost to Grinnell 2-0. The Baseball Panthers failed to score any runs despite outhitting Grinnell 3-2. In the first and fourth innings, Grinnell scored one run each. Brenden Woolsey took one hit and Lincoln Norris took two for Knoxville. Chariton took nine hits during the Panther drive, but the softball Panthers were only allowed two hits. Knoxville’s two hits came from Ayla Williams and Macy Cox. Softball is currently 1-14 and baseball is 13-8. Both are going to play Cardinal at Eldon today.
