Some MAGA supporters have brutally retaliated against Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of former Vice President Kamala Harris, for raising the
surroundings. Some social media users called out the model’s hypocrisy as soon as she revealed that she was worried about climate change. The 26-year-old Ella took to TikTok to voice her mounting worries about a number of environmental issues, most notably climate change. She revealed that for the past few years, she has become fairly concerned in world affairs.
Everything about the surroundings seems to be really bothering me. I suffer from severe climate anxiety. Emhoff stated in one of her TikTok videos, “I believe many of us do.” It’s frightening that everything is happening, she continued, and aside from the few things we can do to fight for change and protest, it’s really difficult to avoid sitting in those moments when everything feels so overwhelming.
Not for the correct reasons, the video went viral on social media very soon. Since Ella had been seen carrying a plastic bag the day before, several astute MAGA supporters were quick to call her out for her hypocrisy. In a mocking comment, one user said, “Have you heard about the new illness that Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, suffers from? Climate anxiety.”
In a sarcastic addition, Don’t misunderstand; she is referring to the concern brought on by Republican acts. Democrats’ climate-related policies don’t make people anxious. A third commented, I’m old enough to recall the time when the left was pushing for the transition to plastic bags and always complained about the deforestation caused by paper bags.
