June 19, 2025The Marion County Sheriff’s Departments responded to 26 service requests over the course of the last twenty-four hours, including but not limited to: nine extra patrol checks, three paper service attempts, two incomplete 911 calls, two follow-up calls, two wanted subjects, one welfare check, one domestic, one criminal mischief, one motorist assistant, one return call, one rescue, one report of livestock in the roadway, and one request to assist another agency.The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received 93 calls, including 25 911 calls, throughout the course of the last twenty-four hours.There are now 24 inmates incarcerated at Marion County Jail.Four subjects were booked into the Marion County jail during the last twenty-four hours.
