June 26, 2025During the last twenty-four hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department has responded to thirty-six service requests, five paper service attempts, five follow-up calls, two accidents, two irresponsible drivers, one vehicle unlocked, one transport, one return phone call, one residential alarm, one debris in the roadway, one incomplete 911, one suspicious activity, one theft, one civil call, one animal bite, one deer, and three other calls.The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received 86 calls over the last twenty-four hours, including 29 911 calls.There are now 27 inmates incarcerated at Marion County Jail.One subject was booked into the Marion County jail during the last twenty-four hours.
