June 27, 2025During the last twenty-four hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department has responded to thirty-three service requests, including but not limited to: six extra patrols, four attempts at paper service, three reckless drivers, three incomplete 911s, three wanted subjects, two return phone calls, one debris call on the roadway, one civil call, one follow-up call, one rescue call, encountering one subject, one trespass, one motorist assistant, one dog call, one pole fire, one juvenile call, one illegal burn, and one other call.The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received 100 calls over the last twenty-four hours, including 35 911 calls.There are currently 28 inmates incarcerated at Marion County Jail.Three subjects were booked into the Marion County jail during the last twenty-four hours.
