July 1, 2025During the last twenty-four hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department has responded to thirty-two service requests, three return phone calls, three motorist assistants, two juvenile calls, two paper service attempts, one dog call, one suspicious person, one domestic, one vehicle inspection, one suspicious vehicle, one report of a reckless driver, one controlled burn, one rescue call, one harassment call, one wanted person, one vehicle accident, and one other call.The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received 120 calls during the course of the last twenty-four hours, 30 of which were from 911.There are now 25 inmates incarcerated at Marion County Jail.Two subjects were booked into the Marion County jail during the last twenty-four hours.
