2 July 2025Over the course of the last twenty-four hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s Departments have responded to 37 service requests, including but not limited to: nine extra patrol checks, three reckless drivers, three follow-up calls, three return calls, two paper service attempts, two suspicious individuals, two rescues, two dog calls, one welfare check, one firework report, one criminal mischief, one motorist assistant, one report of a deer in the roadway, one harassment report, one suspicious vehicle, one report of an intoxicated driver, one request to assist another agency, and one other call.The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received 157 calls over the last twenty-four hours, 42 of which were 911 calls.There are now 23 inmates incarcerated at Marion County Jail.Three subjects were booked into the Marion County jail during the last twenty-four hours.
