A 97-year-old was wandering in the heat when a 29-year-old Miami lady came to her aid. Estrella Quiroz saw 97-year-old Lillian strolling in the heat while she was driving to grab lunch and decompress. She was forced to pull over and give her a lift.
This was something she had never done! She offered to buy her some lunch as well. Quiroz pulled to a stop and climbed down to speak with her. When she offered to give her a ride, the elderly woman inquired as to why and where she was bringing her.
She informed her that she made her think of her grandmother. Quiroz goes on to say that she is helping herself because she would want someone else to help her 100% if it were her grandmother. She is reminded of her grandparents by elderly individuals. As soon as they began conversing, they became buddies. She informed Lillian that she now had a friend.
It was a very hot June day when the elderly woman was waiting for the bus to go errands. She quickly deduced that the woman was born in the same city as her father. The voicemail her father left her before he died is another touching coincidence. Estrella also discovered that she works as an accountant and manages her life on her own while utilizing government help and public transportation.
Despite her advanced age, Estrella observes that Lillian was astute and quite perceptive while they were driving. She was remarkably sharp. Their initial meeting was captured on camera, and it was the first time she had ever shown her face.
