The Norwalk baseball team lost to the Mustangs 3-0 on Friday night after being shut out on four hits against Dallas Center-Grimes.
Warrior starting pitcher Garrett Geurink struggled with his command for two innings, but DC-G scored two runs in the first and one in the third. Eli Benschoter struck out four batters in three scoreless rescue innings.
Xavier Bush of Norwalk earned a walk and doubled in his lone official at-bat. Rhylee Schmidt, Cole Wardlow, and Colton Moore each contributed one.
The Warriors fell to 8-8 in the Little Hawkeye Conference and 11-12 overall. On Monday night, they will visit Ankeny Centennial for a non-conference game.
