The PCM softball team won a non-conference game against Knoxville in Monroe on Wednesday night.
In six innings, the #4-ranked Mustang softball team defeated the Panthers 9-1. Camden Webb pitched two innings with no runs, no hits, and two strikeouts, while Libby Winters pitched three innings with one hit, one run, and three strikeouts for PCM. Lilian Humpal went 1-2 with a home run, two RBI, and a stolen base; Hadley Milang and Kyra Naeve both had hits; Winters went 3-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two stolen bases; and Addison Steehoek went 1-2 with two runs, a double, and a stolen base.
Knoxville drops to 2-17 on the season, while PCM improves to 21-4. Knoxville will return to action tonight against Oskaloosa, and the Mustangs will play their next game at BCLUW.
