The Eagles will now travel to Indianola to finish Little Hawkeye Conference play today after the two games between the Pella Christian summer sports clubs were rained out on Thursday night at PCM.

The Eagles split with Oskaloosa twice on Wednesday after losing to Pleasantville on Tuesday and Pella on Monday. After losing their past four games to ranked teams, the Indians softball team is trying to get back on track and finish the season above.500. After concluding last week with two losses to 4A #2 Dallas Center-Grimes, Indianola only played two games this week, losing both of a twinbill against Class 4A #3 Norwalk on Wednesday. In their doubleheader against Pella Christian in early June, the Indians dominated, winning 18-1 and 10-0.
Tonight at 6:45 p.m., 92.1 KRLS will broadcast live coverage of the Eagles softball game against Indianola, and 94.3 KNIA will broadcast live coverage of the Pella Christian baseball game versus the Indians at the same time.
