On Monday, the Pleasantville softball and baseball teams will make the trip to Interstate 35 to play games in the West Central Conference.
Following a sweeping victory over Earlham on Friday night, the second-ranked Trojan baseball team is 23-1 on the season. Pleasantville won game two 8-1 and continued a suspended game against the Cardinals, which they had won 15-0. The Roadrunners, who are 16-6 on the season and recently defeated Van Meter in their most recent game, will now face the Trojans. Earlier in the season, Pleasantville defeated Interstate 35 15-0.
On Friday, the Trojan softball team, which is 14-8 on the season, continued a suspended game against Earlham, winning 5-3 before losing 3-1 in game two. After losing to Indianola 14-3 on Saturday, Pleasantville will now face a 12-9 Roadrunners team. Pleasantville defeated Interstate 35 8-3 earlier in the season.
Truro’s softball and baseball games begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
