Pleasantville Baseball Sweeps Madrid Tuesday

In a doubleheader on the road Tuesday night in the West Central Conference, Pleasantville’s baseball team swept Madrid.

In the first game, the Trojan baseball team, rated #2, trounced the Tigers 11-1. With three strikeouts and one run allowed on three hits, Luke Vestal earned the victory on the mound. Brody Adreon led the offense with two hits, while Owen Rule, Logan Roff, Brayden Kennedy, and JJ Phillips each had a hit and two RBI. Pleasantville easily won the second game, 15-0. With seven strikeouts in four innings and no runs or hits allowed, Easton Cox earned the victory. Braylon Bingham doubled, tripled, and had five RBI while going 3-3 at the plate. Easton Cox went 2-2, Logan Roff had a double and two RBI, and JJ Phillips had a home run and three RBI in game two as well.

The Pleasantville baseball team will travel to Chariton tonight after improving to 26-1 overall.
