But that isn’t the case during Vance’s vacation abroad with his wife, Usha Vance, and their three children, Mirabel, Vivek, and Ewan.
The pair was expected to bond over their opulent vacation away from the United States. Rather, Vance was frequently spotted having fun by himself, leaving his wife to take care of the children. Vance, who proudly writes Christian, husband, father in his X bio, didn t share any pictures with his family from the summer getaway except a formal picture of themselves with the UK Foreign Secretary, who hosted them at Chevening House.

On the first day of his vacation in Scotland, Vance was observed playing golf at the Trump golf club without his family around. When David Lammy and JD Vance went fishing together, a photo of them together went viral. On nights out with friends, the vice president reportedly liked to drink beer. Vance spent the entire time with his family when the pair traveled to India. He even shared a number of photos from their explorations of the ancient sites in Agra and Jaipur, India. However, their vacation to Scotland feels too dissimilar because of how far apart they are. On their family vacation, the pair reportedly didn’t spend much time together, according to fans.
During the vacation, JD reportedly spent time away from his family, which has stoked rumors of marital issues. Comedian Suzanne Lambert posted a video on Instagram last month that included text conversations from a person who claimed to have heard from a restaurant employee that JD and Usha were fighting over supper. Since Vance became vice president, they have spent less time together, so Usha remarked, “This is what our life should actually be like.”
If the argument really happened, it confirms thatUsha is unhappy in her marriage, and her role has only been reduced to being the mother of their children rather than equal partners.
The demonstrations against her husband may also have contributed to Usha’s lack of excitement during the family vacation. Vacations are meant to be enjoyable and a way to get away from the daily grind. Drama, however, followed the family overseas. When Vance brought his family to the UK’s Cotswolds, the small-town people there didn’t give them a very warm reception.
People made fun of Trump and Vance by dressing up as them. A truck with Vance’s bald face on it was there. People held signs showing their resistance towards the American guests. The last thing anyone wants on vacation is to be made fun of like this. For Usha, who wanted to spend some joyful and restful time away from the drama and criticism taking place in the United States, the protests must have been a mood-killer. Furthermore, her situation was made worse by Vance’s absence.
