Twin Cedars Baseball Beats Ogden, Softball Falls To EBF

Published On:

The Twin Cedars Summer Sports Squads played two non-conference games on Wednesday. Softball lost to EBF 10-1, while baseball defeated Ogden 7-2. Braxton Davis, who went 3/4 with an RBI, topped the baseball team. With a lead of up to seven runs in the sixth inning, the Sabers gradually overtook the Bulldogs. Gavin Clark scattered five runs, walked two, and struck out four to secure the victory in the end. The softball team, meanwhile, leaped on top of the Rockets. Multiple mistakes, walks, and hit batters scoring runs in the second, third, and fourth innings would help EBF end it early. During the evening, the Sabers only managed one hit. Softball will play Moravia on Friday, while baseball will face Ankeny Christian tonight.
