The Twin Cedars baseball team finished third in the Bluegrass Conference this summer after defeating Murray 9–4 on Thursday. The Sabers restricted the Mustangs to only four hits that evening while hammering out eleven. While Brandon Puyear drove in two runs and Holden Roberts continued to be a hot batsman, Reed McElroy was 3/4 with an RBI. Puyear won the victory after striking out five batters in 4 1/3 innings while giving up three hits. When the Sabers play Moulton-Udell, Twin Cedars will focus on the class 1A Substate.
