In baseball, the Sabers defeated their southern Marion County rivals 5–4, rallying from a deficit in the bottom of the 7th to win the game. Melcher-Dallas was outhit 12-5 by Twin Cedars, and Brock Micetich finished with the winning run. Both Holden Roberts and Micetich recorded three hits. After leading the Big Reds 7-1 in the nightcap game, Twin Cedars lost 13-7 after giving up a 12-run sixth inning to Centerville. With a 3/4 and two RBI, Roberts was once again a force at the plate.
