The deadline to apply for Warren County Fair Queen is Monday, June 30th. On August 7, the first day of the 2025 Iowa State Fair, contestants must be at least 16 and no older than 21. They must also not have been married or have children, and the fair queen must live in the county she represents or an adjacent county if the majority of her activities take place there.
County fairs are asked to choose their candidates in a competition that evaluates personality, leadership, and beauty. Each competitor must be an active member of at least one service group; professional models are not permitted.
It is required of the current Warren County Fair Queen to act in a way that promotes the Warren County Fair, her family, and herself. The application procedure is explained in more detail below.
