The Trump administration’s recent social media post has drawn criticism. When the White House official account shared a video featuring their interpretation of the Jet2 Christmas craze, the backlash began. Netizens quickly took to the Internet to criticize the message, calling it utterly repulsive.
Over the past few months, the Jet2 vacation craze has gone viral on the internet. The popular audio has been used by social media users to share heartbreaking experiences from their trips.
The audio is taken from a 2022 commercial for the British trip operator Jet2. Actress Zoe Lister is heard on the clip saying, “There’s nothing better than a Jet2 vacation.” The song “Hold My Hand” by Jess Glynne begins to play in the background.
The White House’s official X account, which was once known as Twitter, posted its thoughts on the trend on the social media site. In the footage, ICE agents were seen loading immigrants from vans onto aircraft that would take them abroad.
A screen grab of the US government app CBP Home appears at the conclusion of the film. Immigrants can use the app to self-deport in accordance with official regulations. The video is already improper, but it becomes even more so when the President makes an appearance.
when ICE arranges for your deportation with a one-way Jet2 vacation.

Trump is seen grinning and pointing at the camera. The White House’s posting of the repulsive film sparked a great deal of criticism. Netizens didn’t exactly like the message; several pointed out how openly the government was making fun of these immigrants.
As one commenter noted, keep in mind that this is an actual US government website. Another person wrote, “Have some class.” A third said, “Even as a Trump supporter, that was on the cringe side.”
This is terrible. You all ought to be embarrassed! One user made a comment. AVOID JOKING about them! Someone else urged. Others blasted the White House social media account for making fun of the incident and pointed out how callous the message was.
One person commented on how absurd it is that the official account is trivializing the grave circumstance. One netizen asked with disbelief, “What’s going on in the White House?”
This is disgusting.
