Zelenskyy Hits Back at Reporter Who Shamed Him for Not Wearing a Suit As Trump Adds Fuel to Fire

The American reporter who had previously criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s wardrobe received his pound of flesh. In the past, Brian Glenn criticized Zelenskyy for not dressing in a suit, calling it an act of disdain against Donald Trump.

During his recent visit to the White House, the Ukrainian president did not miss the chance to give the same reporter a retort. Zelenskyy met with a number of other European leaders at the White House to talk about measures to settle the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Glenn, who had previously come under fire for critiquing the Ukrainian leader’s clothing, praised him for donning a suit this time. The reporter made a mocking comment regarding Zelenskyy’s attire on his visit to the White House a few months earlier.

Glenn was overheard stating, “You’re at the top of this country’s office, and you don’t want to wear a suit.” The same reporter referred to the Ukrainian president, who was wearing a suit, as “fantastic” on Monday.Zelenskyy was promptly reminded by President Trump that Glenn was the same reporter who had previously assaulted him.

Brian Glenn: You look amazing in that suit, President Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy The suit is the same for you. You didn’t change; I did.Twitter: pic.twitter.com/A6556L1G1M

The Ukrainian leader clapped back at Glenn without missing a beat. The suit is the same for you. With a faint smirk, he replied, “I changed, you didn’t.” MAGA Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, the reporter’s girlfriend, defended him on social media as a result.

She stated in an X post that if it weren’t for Glenn’s earlier line of inquiry, Zelenskyy would never have donned a suit. I doubt that he would have worn one to see our esteemed President at all! In the post, Greene wrote.

Neither her nor her boyfriend’s case was improved by the Republican’s post. Netizens quickly called her out and pointed out how inappropriate her comment was. One netizen replied, “Get a room, preferably not on X.”

I would want to commend @brianglenntv for his accomplishments in maintaining the appropriate White House wardrobe.

If Brian hadn’t questioned Zelenskyy, “Do you own a suit?” and “Why don’t you wear a suit?” I doubt that he would have worn one to our esteemed and illustrious

An additional person commented, “I want to thank Marge for continuing to focus on whether the leader of a country being invaded by our shared enemy and the victim of war crimes wears a suit, and not on the horrors being committed by Putin.”

The Republican was reminded by several others of Zelenskyy’s initial motivation for not wearing a suit. According to one user, Zelenskyy decides not to wear a suit as a sign of support for his nation’s armed forces in the ongoing conflict with Russia. Glenn and Greene were called tiny little idiots by the same user.
